Short answer
I am experiencing the same issue. It stopped working after I updated to version 2.
The problem
200 hours in the game no mods used last week no problem installed dlc waiting to play press play on steam and banner middle screen for 15 sec and then crash

I am experiencing the same issue. It stopped working after I updated to version 2.04.06. I have submitted a bug report to the official support channel.
Got 70 hours of joy from the game, but after the patch 2.04.05 it's stable 20fps instead of 100 I used to have. Pretty upsetting there's no option to roll back to the previous, stable version of the game. One might argue 20fps is better than crashes, it's the same shades of unplayable to me.
Same man and I was just getting into it and I just got past the point of not being able to refund it too, it was running perfectly fine on my pc before the dlc update. I can’t even get past the crimson desert loading screen pic.
Unfortunately, you'll have to wait for an update. I've tried everything here and it's still crashing.
