Crimson Desert Enhanced: Game will not launch (Workarounds)
Short answer
Suggested fix (unconfirmed): Remove all outdated mods and delete any leftover mod directories with older dates. Then, verify your game files through Steam and reinstall only the mods that are compatible with the new DLC.
The problem
I played over 1000 hours in game. now it will not launch for me and i just got new DLC i would like to play . i have very thing up to date.
What players suggest
In short, if you use mods, you have to remove them. Then check your files / Directories that has an older date, then delete them (NOT YOUR SAVED FILES). Then revalidate it. Or reinstall game. JSON mod seems outdated, then use new DMM Mod from Nexus. Play awhile without Mods. Then use DMM to install new updated Mods. NOT old ones, only those compatible with new Game / DLC. DMM u will have to…
I had this problem too, though I don't use any mods. Someone suggested to verify the game files, which is what I did, it detected some corrupt files, redownloaded them and now my game launches without any issues.
I've repaired the files 6 times, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game 4-5 times, but the problem persists. I can't launch the game; it freezes on the game logo screen. The music and lighting effects are still there, but there's no start button. The RAM usage reaches 99%, and the game crashes.
