Short answer
The game isnt broken. Your issue is your OS.

After the update, game will not launch at all Running Linux Mint and it's worked fine until now. Tried with mods, without mods, with mod folder totally deleted, re-downloaded etc etc.. Game is utterly broken now.
What players suggest
The game isnt broken. Your issue is your OS. Thats whats breaking the game with 2.5 update. The game runs and launches just fine. As much as I love using linux. This is why for gaming I stick to windows. Anything else its Linux Only thing I can think of is changing Proton versions

See if you can find someone who found a version that works.
Make sure to report this to tech support and if you have any screenshots of any error messages, be sure to attach it to your message. I've yet to update my game to 2.5. I'm running 2.31 right now with my mods. I'm waiting to see if another hotfix patch arrives before I fresh install the game again. I read they're looking into various issues right now, so it sounds to me like another hotfix patch…
Did this work for you?
