No confirmed fix yet. Players suggest: I plan to update this a bit more in the coming days and add additional details that aren't easily apparent in Early game and mid game on challenging.
The problem
Updated for Patch 0.8.090 7/13/26 I’ve completely rewritten this guide which was originally published in May 2025 as the new patches have changed everything. As such I’m going to be as brief as possible. GOAL: Win as fast as possible before the Baron overwhelms us or the Royal Tax levies in the latter part of the game bankrupt us. Maybe I'll give the polearm guys another shot. The couple times I tried to use them they got wrecked vs bandits. And yes, charcoal is insanely good.
