I find bazzite is sometimes slow in the uptake in current patching of steam and proton version. I moved to cachyos 6 months ago and found no issue's with gaming and always up to date with their proton fixes and tweaks, But that is my experience. As with your problem , i have not had that issue or any poor performance issue's. maybe wait to see if you have a update. Changing OS is a big choice…
