NINJA GAIDEN 4: Right trigger straight up not working on 8bitdo controller (Workarounds)

Anyone else have this problem? Every other button registers but for some reason RT just doesn't work at all.

Same problem Update: Changing from X input to D input resolves the issue

Been looking into this further and I identified the issue in d-input on my end. Looks like my 8bit do controller just doesn't detect full range of input when clicking RT. Something to check is download the 8bitdo ultimate software for your controller and check to see under the trigger settings if the right trigger actually goes through the full range of motion from 0 to 100%.
