R.E.P.O.: Stuck in Loading (Fix)

The problem

Game will fire up with "flashing light" warning and then the screen moves on to the black flickering screen and that is where I get stuck. Then the message pops up "Stuck in Loading? Press ESC to exit to main menu." However, if i hit ESC it just keeps me on the same screen... the the "stuck in loading?" message pops up again. It's a whole cycle. I have uninstalled and re-installed the game but…

ok i managed to fix it, since the common issues disscution mentioned this happening of mods i checked if there was any BepInEx or winhttp.dll files or folders in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\REPO" folder path and then deleted those two and the game worked as it should, if any of you ran mods before or even tried i recomment checking if those exist in your repo files (the…
