Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Wheel Deadzone still a glaring issue? (Workarounds)
Short answer
No confirmed fix yet. Players suggest: I just use a G29 and I can still fix how sensitive I want the steering to be and if I REALLY wanted less dead zone a controller emulator would be the solution to that.
The problem
I just reinstalled after finding out the game came out of early access! I was really eager to play, hooked my wheel back up, my pedals too. Holy SH*T. You still cant actually PLAY with wheels?? Why do I still need to turn 15* to have the game recognize feedback? I have fiddled with the steering wheel degrees to 180 in the settings of the game. I've set Handling Deadzone as low and high as it can…
What players suggest
I play on a wheel with zero issues. I agree that dead zones should be configurable, but you can just go into your wheel software and edit most things yourself, even for really really old wheels. I just use a G29 and I can still fix how sensitive I want the steering to be and if I REALLY wanted less dead zone a controller emulator would be the solution to that.
