CONTROL Resonant: Ever gonna fix all the sound glitches? (Workarounds)
Short answer
Suggested fix (unconfirmed): Lower your audio sample rate to 44.1kHz or 48kHz at 24-bit in your Windows sound settings. This resolves the common sound glitch issue caused by higher sample rates.
The problem
It's ridiculous - the game still runs poorly, the audio glitches and lag is unbearable, and it's a boring button masher of a game. I regret buying it and wish I could get my money back.
Yeah im semi-technical, i do know SOME linux stuff and get it, but not all. i have read online about the kernel thing but when i asked some ppl i knew i could not really get a straight anwser more then "it breaks some things".
Suggested fix (unconfirmed): Collect all sketches across your playthroughs so your progress accumulates. Revisit the sketches you already found in your first playthrough to trigger the achievement.
1. Cheat Engine (you do everything yourself, nothing to download from me) Load into gameplay, attach Cheat Engine to CONTROLResonant.exe, click "Add Address Manually": address CONTROLResonant.exe+5D27DC8, type Float.
Suggested fix (unconfirmed): Recheck all seven areas carefully, as you likely missed one taxi despite your previous search. Return specifically to the very first area where the taxis appear to find the missing one.
Suggested fix (unconfirmed): Lower your graphic settings to get past the crashing area in the Underpass. Alternatively, load an earlier save file to bypass the bugged section.
