Dispatch: All Hacking Sequences Guide

Introduction

Hey everyone! So, I decided to make this guide for you who need help with the Hack Sequences during the game (NOTE: This guide will also include the sequence of your shifts). The core of Dispatch hacking is a mini game where you guide your little avatar (the shiny ball on the image below) through a digital maze. Your main job is to get from the start to the exit, but the game throws obstacles in your way.

NOTE: This guide may be subject to change.

The sequences are composed of three kind of puzzles: Bridge Building, Antivirus and Passwords.
🌐**Bridge Building: You’ll hit gaps marked with a hammer icon. You have to quickly tap a sequence of buttons (like 🢁, 🢂, 🢃, 🢀) to build a bridge.
🛡️Antiviruses: **These are the red enemies that patrol the map or chase you. If they catch you, you have to restart (unless you have an energy charge).
🔐Passwords: Some paths are locked. You’ll have to explore another path to find a password sequence, memorize it (or write it down), and then return to the lock to input it.
If you're like me tho and just want to enjoy the story, there's a way to make the hacking sequences "easier" and less stressful.
In the Menu of the game, go to Settings > General > Unlimited Hacking Attempts and switch it ON. This removes the penalty for getting caught by an Antiviruses, letting you retry instantly without the frustration and it also removes the time from certain sequences. I admit I was one of those people because, timed sequences stress me out, and that's not how I want to feel when playing a game. I'm also in it for the story itself, not to get stressed out. There are some in-game achievements that you won't be able to obtain if you activate this option, so keep that in mind as well.


NOTE: Enabling this option will not affect your story throughout the game.
Also, this guide is for those who have this option enabled and those who don't, so don't feel excluded because of that. You decide how you want to enjoy your experience!

HACKING SEQUENCES

During hacking sequences, move the cube avatar around to different squares using WASD. The goal is to bypass different systems by landing your cube on prompt squares and then completing the corresponding prompts (using WASD as directional arrows).

With the Unlimited Hacking Attempts ON ✅
If you have the Unlimited Hacking Attempts ON, to get the achievement, you just need to complete all the sequences without skipping any of them.
With the Unlimited Hacking Attempts OFF ❌
In case you have the Unlimited Hacking Attempts OFF, YOU CANNOT LOSE the lives to anti-virus sequences or let time run out in time sequences, as this will affect your progress to get the achievement.
