Dispatch: Censorship not working (Workarounds)
Short answer
No confirmed fix yet. Players suggest: If you change something else, does it stay saved?
The problem
I installed this and have reinstalled multiple times, tried to troubleshoot files, restarted my pc, everything but the censors for nudity are not there. i have tried everything. i don't want to see nudity so i cant play this until the bug gets fixed. does someone know another way to fix it? i tried all 3 censorship options and none show up. i even reset my game save file.
What players suggest
That sounds like a weird bug. Have you checked if other settings changes work? If you change something else, does it stay saved?
If you can’t change any of the settings, it’s likely a broader settings bug rather than just the censorship issue. There’s a file called CloudSettings.sav located under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Dispatch\Saved\SaveGames which might be causing your issue. (To open that folder, press Win + R, paste the path and press Enter.) Try moving the file elsewhere so the game can’t access it, or simply delete it. Then…
Nudity in games isn't new, and it's not a bug. If it bothers you, that's your call to make — but it's not a reason to dock a game that's otherwise doing what it set out to do. Plenty of players are fine with it, and that's the audience this was made for.
