Monster Hunter Wilds: Ps2 textures on 8gb vram (Workarounds)

Short answer

No confirmed fix yet. Players suggest: If you are getting stuck LoD then grab the advanced graphics mod from nexus, it allows you to set the minimum LoD so it doesn’t drop to potato quality.

The problem

hi fellow hunters. is it just me or even with the settings high, most of the weapons and ambient textures look very compressed, i've seen some mods, but most were before TU 4.0, should i use some or the game is just like this:

If you are getting stuck LoD then grab the advanced graphics mod from nexus, it allows you to set the minimum LoD so it doesn’t drop to potato quality. As for why it happens to certain PC’s, no idea. If it is just taking some time to load then this is dependent on your ssd speed. If it’s stuck then grab the mod and change it yourself.
