Probably Stolen - Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim: Winemaking and You
Short answer
Adapted guide from probably stolen discord
Steam Community guide by The Exceptional Fisherman.
The basics of wine
You need 1 berry, 750 ml of any quality water and a wine bottle to start any kind of fermentation. Base fermentation lasts 4 days before you get your product.
Now the result of the fermentation will determined by: Grapes used, the number of grapes, if yeast was used and the quality of water used.

The result of fermentation
Value 0: Undrinkable: Unsellable, can only be dumped into the drain or poured into bottle to get gutterflow.
Value 1: Bucket brew: sell price 85, price modifier -15% (all listed sell prices have their price modifier already included)
Value 2: Homebrew: sell price 100, price modifier +0%
Value 3-4: Production wine: sell price 125, price modifier +25%
Value 5: Reserve: sell price 150, price modifier +50%
Value 6: Master Vintage sell price 175, price modifier +75%
The following sections will show, how each wine ingredient contributes to the value.
Start with a value of 0 and add/substract based on what the sections tell you

BloomBerries (Grapes, berries)
BloomBerries (Grapes, berries)
note berries cannot ripen with time, become overripen nor mold
- -1 for moldy
- +0 for overripe
- +0 for underripe
- +1 for standard
- +2 for small**
ADDITIONALLY**, using 2 berries in a recipe gives +1 value
Yeast
+1 value for using yeast, doesn't matter the amount of yeast used nor the type of yeast (normal, bioreactor, super yeast)
Note: Do not use synthetic yeast in normal wine making as it will lead to GloomBerry wine
ADDITIONALLY Using yeast, synthetic yeast or yeast bioreactor cuts fermentation time down to 2 days, while using super yeast cuts fermentation time to 1 day!
Water
Pure water: +1 (yes, really - the winemaking manual is incorrect)
High-quality water: +1
Basewater: 0
Ghostwater: -1
Rustwater: -2
Gutterflow: -3
Aging
All wines have a base value of 100 then they get automatically labeled, adding price modifier based on their quality, hence despite all wines aging equally +3 credits/day, the added value is different for all qualities;
Bucket Brew +2,55/d
Homemade +3/d
**Production ****wine **3,75/d
**Reserve **4,5/d
Master Vintage 5,25/d
You can age a wine forever, there doesn't seem to be a limit to it. (besides reaching the 32bit limit)
keep in mind those values then get rounded to not include decimal points
Gloomberry wine (the contraband wine)
If you you put any amount of synthetic yeast into the wine bottle it will **ALWAYS result in GloomBerry wine regardles if you even used grapes or the quality of water used.
GloomBerry wine - 44 base price, but it's a mid level contraband so +70% price modifier applies. and turns it into 74 credit wine
**
IMPORTANT GloomBerry wine CANNOT be aged, its price will always stay the same
the method - use gutterflow water with just synthetic yeast to turn typically unusable stuff into 80 profit wine. Gutterflow can be infinitely obtained by buying water trading wilds upgrade, and then gutterflow tap upgrade or alternatively if you use rats, you can put their feces into a water bottle to create gutterflow and then use that for the winemaking.
Sources of BloomBerries (Grapes, berries)
Each week on a Friday you can get 8 BloomBerries from the retired winemaker.
Additionally you can use Wild's Seller referral to try to spawn Hydroponics farmer at the end of the day, that will sell 5-6 more berries with each visit. HIs spawning is not limited to once a week, though he is fighting for a spawn chance with 3 other customers in the wild's seller pool so he might not spawn as often as you would like.
Bloomberries can also be grown in a hydroponic system from a seed. The quality of the berries you receive is based on the plant health at the time of the harvest. Each harvest produces 6 bloomberries.
Sources of wine bottles
Each week on a Friday you can get 4 wine bottles from the retired winemaker, and on a Sunday you can get 3 more from the supply runner (albeit at a higher markup)
Additionally you can get 0-2 wine bottles per visit from scavgeneral, a customer that can randomly spawn when your display signs don't convert all random customer, or alternatively he can be forced to spawn using scav token in the display case. His visits are not limited to once per week.
(there is also junker customer that also sells wine bottles 0-3 per vists, though there is no way to force them to spawn as they are in the random customer pool only)
